Ambassador William Hanna visits EU funded projects in Haor region
Ambassador William HANNA, Head of the EU Delegation to Bangladesh, traveled to the Haor region (Kishoreganj) from 27-28 September 2011 to visit some EU funded projects.
Ambassador Hanna visited the Haor Initiatives for Sustainable Alternative Livelihoods (HISAL) project. This project is being implemented by Concern Worldwide and the EU has contributes 749,996 Euros for this project. Ambassador Hanna also visited the Food Security For Ultra Poor - Haor (FSUP-H). CARE is implementing the project with an EU contribution of 11,092,800 Euros.
